As soon as I received my FATWORKS order...I fried up some potatoes in the DUCK fat, and made my biscuits using the BEEF tallow!!! First time ever using either for cooking, and let me honesty say-“I’m hooked, and love the fact that it is good for you too”!!! I’ve since used to fry up my steaks,eggs,and making my sourdough flatbreads. P.S. also use the tallow at night for moisturizer(no chemicals). Using duck fat for cooking, spread on a sandwich and as the added fat in recipes, is wonderful. The taste is not so strong but offers a soft fat taste. And more importantly, it is a fat I can get into my kid that is healthy. Otherwise other good fats I have tried someone in the family didn't like. But I can use this liberally and no complaints. Once, I didn't have an oil to put in brownies I was making for the football team......And I decided to sneak in the duck fat, and no kid was the wiser that duck fat was in their brownies!

I have been using Fatworks Duck Fat ever since I took a cooking course a couple of years ago. The teacher recommended duck fat for roasting vegetables and so I tried it. Fatworks Duck Fat has been my secret weapon ever since that first skillet of vegetables came out of my oven. I use it whenever I brown meat of any kind or saute vegetables. It just makes everything taste great.
I ordered my latest batch of duck fat directly from Fatworks and I will always order directly from them in the future. I ordered one jar when I meant to order two and didn't notice I'd done it until I had already completed the transaction. They gave me plenty of opportunities to review the order--I was just distracted and blew through my chances for review. So, I sent an email to Fatworks Customer Service. They replied super fast and had the whole thing fixed very quickly. Plus, the man I spoke with was very nice and answered some questions I had about freezing the duck fat.
The two jars were very, very well packed when they arrived. I am so impressed with Fatworks!

If you're looking for high quality fats, and want to get rid of some of those oils that go rancid or that get sort of toxic during processing and then go through high heat cooking and don't really offer *any* nutrition content - then ditch those, and go with Fatworks instead! Fatworks - DUCK FAT is now my go to fat when some food needs some fat for frying. Very tasty and a rich yet subtle flavor. The Duck fat really "crisps food up"... for sure. Ok, so maybe I'm a one trick pony, I've made duck fat potatoes for nearly everyone I can. It's like a party-trick! People rave!!! "What is that?" they say. I take the little creamer potatoes, slice them in half and lay them into and a cast iron that's already been warmed with duck fat. PLEASE salt the duck fat prior to lining the cast iron with the potatoes with the cut side down. Cook at 400 til crispy. PERFECTION!

I ordered on line and received my order within a few days. The jars arrived packed in individual protective cardboard containers, which would make it very difficult to receive broken jars. The duck fat is an amazing fat and I am grateful to the ducks that gave their lives for it! The taste of popcorn, roasted root veggies (potatoes are fantastic) and apple crisp, convinces me that everything is better with duck fat. I avoid dairy products and the topping for my crisp was so delicious with the duck fat that I did not even miss the butter. I would highly recommend this to anyone who uses animal fats.

I use the beef fat, pork lard and duck fat. The beef I found to be good only when cooking with beef. Because the beef fat will put a beef flavor in what your cooking. With a beef dish it helps to enhance the flavors.
The pork lard can be used when cooking anything. It does not have a flavor that will carry over to what your cooking. The lard would be an all round go to cooking element.
The duck fat is a second runner up. It also can be used in cooking anything. There is almost no flavor carried over to what your cooking. And the little flavor that is carried over also helps enhance your dish. The duck fat makes excellent French Frys . It cooks at a higher temperature so your able to get a real nice crispy exterior on the fry’s without burning at all and the inside of the fry stay moist and flavorful.

My first use of Fatworks Duck Fat was for Birria Tacos. My husband and I like them crispy & I was reading duck fat is the way to go for crispy. I preheated the pan, added a couple tablespoons of duck fat, and made the tacos dipping the tortillas, as usual, in the fat from the consommé. Same way I always make them but with duck fat in the pan instead of oil or lard. Wow! What a difference! The tacos were extra crispy — with a delightful crackle when you bit into them, like a potato chip crackle. And delicious! I also made home fries with duck fat. Huge improvement. Lovely crispy exterior on the potatoes. I’m so sold on duck fat and Fatworks is a great brand. Buy now. Thank me later.

We gave up vegetable and seed oil so we needed to supplement for Taco shells, potatoes, and French fries. We started using beef tallow. After having duck fat fries at a brewery in AZ we were hooked! We still use tallow for stuff like liver but we are hooked on the suck fat. I think we just received our 3rd order and it has arrived fast and in good order. We are so happy to find fat works.
