Chicken Green Chili

We be jamming! This flavorful jam from @paleopickles is a great topping for meat, fish or roasted vegetables

Ingredients

  • 3 orange bell peppers (any color bell pepper will work)
  • 4 small yellow onions
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons Fatworks Grass-Fed Tallow
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Total time: 40 minutes

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1

Chop yellow onions and peppers into small pieces. 

STEP 2

Steam onions and peppers in a large covered pan with approximately 1/3 cup of water until water has cooled down completely. 

STEP 3

Add 1 tbsp of tallow and salt and pepper to taste, and saute until onions and pepper begin to brown. 

STEP 4

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until onions and peppers are well caramelized. 

STEP 5

Stir until the mixture becomes well integrated. 

STEP 6

Scoop onto eggs, chicken, or whatever suits your fancy!
