Golden Ghee Latte
Up the nutrient density of your morning coffee with this keto friendly golden ghee latte recipe (whiskey optional). Blast your brain with fat and the anti-inflammatory power of turmeric. Enjoy it while warm and frothy with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top if you are feeling festive.
INGREDIENTS
- 12 ounces freshly brewed coffee
- ½ cup light canned coconut milk or nut milk, warmed
- 2 tablespoons Fatworks Ghee
- 1 tablespoon grass-fed gelatin
- 1 ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Pinch of black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- If sweetness is desired: 2 tablespoons maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1
Brew coffee.
STEP 2
Add ingredients to a blender in the order listed.
STEP 3
Add the coffee and blend on high speed until the gelatin has dissolved and the drink is very frothy.
