Please understand that if your order shows "Delivered" by the carrier but you claim that you do not receive your order, Fatworks will NOT be able to refund or replace your order unless you have purchased the ShipAid protection.
Regarding shipment time, your order will typically ship within two business days. Upon completion of your order you will immediately receive a confirmation email. A follow up email with tracking number will be sent at around 5:00 MST on the day your order ships. We suggest putting orders@fatworks.com us as an approved email in your email service so as not to get our emails stuck in a spam filter. If you still have not received your tracking number after 3 days from the time of your order something may be amiss! In this case, please do not hesitate to contact us and we can hunt down your fat for you!

ALL Fatworks Lards and Tallows are Pasture Raised and/or Organically Sourced. We ONLY source our pork, beef, lamb and buffalo from pasture raised farms and we receive affidavits from each farm stating that they are pasture raised. The exception to this is our Cage Free Duck Fat and our Wagyu Tallows.
Fatworks' fats can have seasonal color variations. Seasonal changes in eating of pasture raised animals can affect fats color and this can change from batch to batch.
Separation of oils is normal! This is nothing to be alarmed about and is NOT a sign of rancidity or spoilage. You should reset your fat by doing the following: Put the jar on a cookie tray or skillet and put in oven at 250 for 30-45 minutes. This will "fuse" the fatty acids back together. Carefully take out of oven and put in fridge overnight. Congratulations, you have now "reset" your fat. Enjoy.
We do not use bleach or hydrogenation. We have added Organic Rosemary extract to our Poultry Fats and Pork Lards which adds almost no flavor, and helps us reach the required peroxide levels set by the USDA. All our fats are tested for freshness. Rosemary is a natural antioxidant and helps keep your fat fresher because rancid fat is no way to cook with Fattitude.
Sometimes the button on the top of your lid will arrive popped. Unless the jar is leaking or the lid is obviously loose, a popped button on the lid is nothing to worry about. This just happens sometimes due to altitude changes in shipping and does not reflect a tampered or broken seal.
Reuse! We wanted to remind you that our fats are very robust andcan therefore be reused several times if properly filtered. We recommend unbleached coffee filters but cheesecloth folded over a few times works great too.

Return Policy
1. All unopened products can be returned
2. If product is of good condition and not opened you may return. You will be responsible for return shipping fees.
3. If product has defect or is spoiled r out of date we will refund or ship new product. Sometimes the expiration date rubs off. If this happens and you would like to know the USE BY DATE, call or email us and we will let you know as we keep records of each jar that we ship.
