Roasted Buffalo Cauliflower

Get a taste of your favorite buffalo-style wings with this oven roasted buffalo cauliflower recipe. We mix together our pasture-raised Pure Lard with hot sauce and spices to give roasted cauliflower a spicy kick. Top it with chopped herbs and your favorite crumbly cheese.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 tablespoons Fatworks Pure Lard
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • Optional to garnish: chopped parsley, crumbled feta or blue cheese

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1

Preheat the oven to 425° F.

STEP 2

Add the Pure Lard, hot sauce, honey, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper to a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat until the lard is dissolved, whisking occasionally.

STEP 3

Chop the cauliflower as desired, both florets or large ½” slices work well. Coat the cauliflower with the sauce and space out on a lined sheet pan.

STEP 4

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden. Garnish as desired.
