I was visiting my dad in Poland and he uses goose fat for almost all his cooking recipes. He is 84 years old and very healthy man. I figured that it's has to be his way off eating that is keeping him this way. He uses a lot of fats, but goose fat is his favorite and now it is mine. "Fat works"

I absolutely love the customer service and the product. I was making Hungarian chicken paprikash, and the recipe called for goose fat. I received the product in a timely manner, and the pasteurize goose fat made the Hungarian chicken paprikash. So delicious.. I will definitely buy from fat Works again.

I use all three of the poultry fats (I cook exclusively with animal fat), and goose was the most unknown quantity to me when I started (the chicken is so yummy and chickeny and the duck, well it's duck. It makes everything taste amazing--try scrambling eggs in it with a little salt and dill. Yummmmm!). I wasn't sure if goose would have a really strong taste or not. I find it the most neutral, but the richest, and it goes so well with beef and pork if you aren't already using lard or tallow (I prefer fat that goes liquid at room temperature but I know not everyone does: personal choice). It's truly delicious.
I am so impressed with the way that the fats are packed (these are glass bottles, and they are always in pristine shape when they arrive no matter how badly the box has been treated by the shippers). Fatworks obviously takes a great deal of pride in its product and the way it is packed reflects that.
I cook exclusively with animal fats not just because they're freaking delicious, but because I have dry eye disorder, and my eyes always feel less scratchy/dry when I have animal fats in my diet as opposed to other types of oil.

My health conscious friend recommended Duck fat to me and gave me Fatworks website. I ordered some and had my wife cook all my food with duck fat. From the very first meal I noticed a tremendous difference in the way I felt. We used vegetable oil before and I constantly had headaches and digestive issues. Since we started using fat to cook with I've thrown away all the oils from our house. (except some olive oil and coconut oil which we occasionally use on salads and in smoothies.) I've noticed a marked improvement in our quality of life. Higher energy levels, my wife lost weight, I feel more mentally sharp and alert, the kids are getting sick less and our food tastes better than it ever has before. I solemnly swear I will never again use vegetable oil or other processed cooking oils for anything other than greasing engine parts. That stuff is poison. The duck fat is expensive, I wish it were less expensive, but I'm not going back to vegetable oil under any circumstances.

Cooking with this fat is so fun! I like that it’s so uncommon, it feels like I’m adding a lot of diversity to my diet. Additionally, this is hard to describe so bare with me, using this fat makes cooking easier.
Nothing sticks to my cast iron, and nothing splashes all over the stove. The taste and texture of the food is elevated as well…10/10.

I didn't purchase the goose fat for cooking. I actually used it in an old-school cold and congestion remedy. It worked just like it did when I was a child!! Thank you so much for selling this product. I will be purchasing more...maybe for cooking as well!!

Other friends have had a hard time finding things like leaf lard and beef tallow for real pie crusts, biscuits, and Yorkshire puddings. They were thrilled to find a reliable supplier.
And don't get me started on the duck fat. And the schmaltz.

I really liked the pastured duck fat, and since it's been discontinued, I had to find a substitute. This is pretty good, but not as good as the duck. The duck fat had no rosemary extract as a preservative, but from what I understand, there is only a very, very small amount in this. Additionally, the duck fat was certified pasture raised, whereas with this we have to trust Fatworks that these geese are indeed pasture raised and that the farm just didn't get a certification. I wish there was a way to verify these geese are treated well, but you have to take what you can get. Taste is similarish to the duck fat, but not quite as good, it's more "smokey" I guess? That's just taste of goose fat though, nothing to do with how FatWorks makes it I don't think. It tastes fine, the best substitute for the duck fat. I would give this 5 stars if there is some way to certify the geese are well treated, but we just have to take it at their word.

I don’t know why this stuff is so amazing, but it is unlike anything I’ve ever had. I found myself saying words like “decadent” and “sumptuous” when I eat it. It’s rich and velvety and just freaking delicious. I put it in soups to make them creamy and blend it into my cauliflower puree (like mashed potatoes). But I’m sure it would make for amazing fries too. I have a lot of food restrictions, and this is a gift from Heaven. I order it in bulk. Can’t live without it. Getcha some!
