We used this to make some french fries and could not believe the improved flavors!
Quick shipment, love the flavor! Normally use butter for the eggs, but this added an entire new flavor, very rich tasting. Definitely ordering more.
I used a small amount of this stuff to cook some eggs for my wife and I, and they turned out phenomenal, adding to the flavor of the eggs.
Tallow is my favorite and perfect size to sample!
It's an interst of mine for a new experience thanks
I love using these little bottle samples to dip my fork into first before eating my steaks!
Makes THE best fried eggs! I’ll never use butter again.
I’m usually a tallow consumer but these little lard shots are an amazing switch up for me!
I ordered several of the sample-sized fats: ghee, pork, duck, and schmaltz (chicken). The order came through in a timely enough manner.
My only complaint is the sample-sized bottles are too small of a sample to get a good feel, or should I say taste. I used the ghee and pork lard right off the bat. The ghee barely lasted for two scrambled egg breakfasts. I really want to make some sawmill gravy and the sample size just isn't enough. Guess I'll have to buy the larger ones, gosh darn it! :-)
So remember, fat is good for you. It's too much fat that is bad for you. You really do want to add fat to your cooking and so far Fatworks has some of the best I've come across. Just be sure to buy enough in your first order. ;-)
I used the goose fat for homemade french fries and man it truly took it to the next level. Great stuff!
I have used chow ghee before for many many years. I bought the goat ghee out of curiosity. Personally, I liked the flavor but my family wasn't a big fan.
Great taste super easy to cook with!
Your company FATWORKS, has consistently had very high quality fat products, that I love. The quality for those of us on KETO or just healthy eating, is unsurpassed. I recommend your company to all my loved ones. Keep up the great work.
I bought the tallow specifically to help me when I make Yorkshire pudding popovers with steak. They’re usually made with a beef roast where there’s plenty of drippings for added flavor. The tallow added a modest beef flavor to the popovers, preferable to using vegetable oil. I didn’t realize how hard it was to clean the tallow out of the muffin pan though Lol. The sample jars were well wrapped and delivered unbroken.
This goat Lard is creamy and I am sure just as good as the Pork Lard. I am just not ready for any food from goats at this time, so I am going to pass on it for the time being.
I got one of each sample pack, and they are all great! This one is one I chose to buy the bigger version of. Thanks you guys!
Best fat in the market! I love the farm highlights; it’s important to support farms working at making our world a better place!
Great products! Love using the lard on a bunch of stuff like cooking eggs and steaks
Product was shipped very fast and added so much extra flavor to my chicken recipes
The ordering and shipping process was simple and fast! The duck fat added good healthy fat to my food and not to mention, it made it taste so good!!
Well, I haven't actually used any of the product yet. I can tell you I'm pleased with the service.
Hello, the package arrived quickly, but there was some leakage, (oddly the chicken fats only) thankfully each jar was wrapped separately so it wasn't a total mess. I used the rest of the schmaltz for a pot of dumplings and chicken. It gave a good clean taste to the dish and it disappeared fast! I will be ordering more, although I will be ordering an extra jar of schmaltz to make sure I have enough for a full recipe. Best ;o)!
I used this in a moisturizer. It is wonderful as a stabilizer, creamy and rich along with excellent absorbtion. My skin laps it up. There is almost no smell, and it has a creamy buttery taste. Very different than beef tallow.
The Tiny Tallows & Lards are a convenient way to try Fatworks products. I love the beef tallow for searing steak before finishing in the oven. You get a steakhouse-level char in a cast iron pan. Previously I used olive oil but the beef tallow works much better. I never had schmaltz before but use it now to sear chicken breast after sous vide and it adds a luscious depth of flavor! I used to make my own ghee because the ghee available in the local grocery tasted terrible. But I find making ghee a pain so I tried Fatworks Ghee and it tastes great. Every Fatworks product I’ve tried I love — so much that I ordered my brother & son their own Tiny Tallows & Lards. They are both fans now too. Highly recommend.
Found Fatworks online after my husband & I started a low-carb diet and I couldn’t find any tallow or lard in my local stores. I recently pan-seared some barrel-cut Filet Mignon in Fatworks beef tallow then finished them in the oven. The tallow helped create a much deeper sear with improved flavor! Those were the best filets I ever made! I pan-sear hamburgers in beef tallow too. You don’t need much, it doesn’t burn at pan-sear temps and it definitely improves flavor. Next order, I tried the cow Ghee. I’ve made my own ghee but Fatworks is every bit as good without the tedium. I just bought the tiny sample jars of all the other products — can’t wait to try them. I’ve sent Fatworks tallow & sample jars to family members who report they love them. My brother with Type 2 Diabetes was thus inspired to try a keto diet and his blood sugar dropped almost 100 points in 2 weeks! Try Fatworks. Seriously, you won’t be disappointed. And... you’re welcome! :)
