Bison tallow is the leanest of the tallows. Tastes great, cooks well. I have only used it in ground beef for added fat for my diet, but I know it would be great to deep fry anything in. Great product. Came well packaged and delivered on time. It keeps its consistency in the cupboard; once opened I use it within a month. Grass fed, grass finished, can’t go wrong with it!

First off, let me say that I would NEVER eat this. Poor bison! That said, in terms of skincare, the Native Americans were onto something. Instead of eating the stuff, I whipped it with olive oil, added peppermint essential oil, and smeared it onto my face… Excellent! In fact, I liked it so much that I started to use it on my whole body. In spite of sometimes feeling like a pot roast, it’s the best skin cream I’ve discovered yet. Highly recommended!

Great fat! I made dinner rolls with them. Creates a soft but firm roll. Works well with loaf bread, too. I use half tallow and half butter. Will be buying regularly!
