Skincare makers note: There are seasonal and batch differences that will make for varying consistencies. We have had batches in which the tallow is hard and sometimes where it is softer. We do not homogenize, bleach, or deodorize. Our tallow makes great skincare but please be aware that it may vary from batch to batch based on what nature gives us.
*It seems that enough people must have fallen asleep during their middle school math class for this footnote to be necessary, but to be clear, a gallon is a unit of volume. not a unit of ounces. A gallon holds 128 oz. of water, but a gallon of Tallow, Lard or Duck Fat is 112 oz, as fat is less dense than water. There are112 ounces of tallow in this 1-gallon bucket. It is the equivalent of 8 of our 14 oz jars.

I rendered it an additional time since I’m using it for cosmetic products. Probably not necessary, but I think it helped with the beef smell, which really wasn’t terribly bad. I also wanted to store it in glass containers rather than the bucket. I haven’t made any product with it yet, but it looks like it will be fine.
I have ordered from FatWorks several times over the years and everytime my product arrives quickly and intact. The quality is great and so is the taste. I will continue to order forever with service like this.

I use the organic grass fed tallow for my face balms. I love this tallow, it’s creamy, moisturizing and has a low fragrance that works with EO add or unscented. I will continue to buy from Fatworks because I trust it be a consistently excellent product.

Hi. Here's our review. We have used the fatworks Pure Tallow Organic Cooking Oil for our whipped tallow products for over a year. We are hooked on because it is the only Organic, Grass-fed, Grass-finished, made in the USA beef tallow we know of. Until our most recent order, we found the product to be exceptional even at the premium price. Unfortunately, the quality dipped on our last bucket. It has a flaky, grainy quality we've never encountered before. Really hoping this was a anomaly as we'd really like to go back to 5 star ratings and being a super-happy customer.
Such a great product! Arrives fresh and I’ve never had a problem with the order or delivery. If you haven’t made fries in beef tallow in a cast iron skillet, I’m not sure you are truly living.
