This was first purchase ever with this company and was somewhat disappointed. I ordered six jars of fat. 4 full size and 2 small, which included the bison fat. The chicken fat was the other small one. I am upset not because of the fat quality itself but the manufacturing quality. With the chicken fat I had a plastic safety ring around the metal top, so that it was known not to be open, but with the Bison fat there was none on the jar. It made me question if this was a return or someone messed with it? Not sure but wasnt happy. I sent out a personal email a week or more previously to this review but no one has contacted me, which is unfortunate. Thank you for the speedy shipping but thats all I can say because I have not used the bison fat.

I love to use Thunder Fat in my afternoon coffee during a liquid fast. I add about a teaspoon to chicory coffee, plus a tablespoon of cinnamon whipped cream with no sweetener. It staves off hunger and cravings until late morning, and sometimes early afternoon, of the next day. It's a quality product in the perfect size jar. Fatworks, always be having this!

Love this Bison Tallow! Not only is it great for cooking but I also make some Tallow Balm with it. Since using the tallow balm my skin has improved significantly! Also works great on a sunburn.

It’s very hard to find tallow of this quality. Grass fed / finished ✅ Bison tallow is even harder to find. And a pleasant surprise with the soap I bought just to try. Wow! It’s my new soap going forward. The smell is fantastic and my skin never dries out. What an anazing by chance find.

I bought this to use as tallow balm and unfortunately everytime I use it my skin flares up into a small rash on my hand. I only added honey to it, which I use daily on my skin so there are no other factors that could cause this other than there being something in the tallow? I've been using wagyu beef tallow with no problems so I was surprised to have this reaction thinking buffalo tallow would be even better.
It seems to have a burnt smell which is odd because I've been cooking bison from my friend's ranch for years now and never smelled anything like it. Wondering if it's some type of by product from smoking BBQ buffalo manufacturing? Or just got burnt in the process of rendering? It's unfortunate because I bought this company's other version of the buffalo tallow and it has a similar smell. Hopefully I can make use of them since I missed the return window.

Just finished my first jar of the Bison Tallow........ and WOW!!!!!!!
I have been ordering the bucket of Organic Beef Tallow (which is amazing btw) for awhile now, but recently decided to give the Bison Tallow a try. IT HAS BEEN worth every penny!
The flavor of meats and other foods is phenomenal when cooked with this tallow. I love knowing when I am at home, I can replace seed oils with healthy saturated fats.
Give the Bison Tallow a try if you have yet to do so.

The bison fat works great when cooking eggs and steaks on my cast iron. I find myself re-using the fat a lot by filtering it back into the can (making the can last a lot longer). It will definitely last me a while.

First time using tallow for roasting potatoes. Crispy skin, tender inside. The Buffalo Tallow will go into my roasting recipe rotation. Right up there with Duck Fat.

I melted down this fat using the double boiler method and filled a bunch of empty gelatin capsules with it, so I can take the fat as a supplement. I take about 8 capsules a day
