I've been trying to duplicate my grandmother's fried chicken recipe which calls for Lard. Tried the supermarket version and no joy. Used Fatworks Lard and it was a total success!! And as a bonus it is healthier than anything else around. Thank you, Fatworks!

Fantastic pork lard! Whether using it or frying some food in a pan, making lard pie crusts, or lard/butter biscuits, this is the best for flavor and flakiness.

My grandmother used lard in her beans to refry them. It was the Manteca from the grocery store with so many added preservatives. I refused to use that lard and sadly I could never find a cleaner version....until now! This lard made my beans taste just like hers without the added junk. I am so excited. Thank you!!

This pork lard is great to use in place of cooking oil and adds great flavor too. I feel so much better eating lard compared to refined seed cooking oils. Can't wait to use this in tamales!
This is my first purchase from Fatworks! My product came nicely packaged and the taste of this lard is incredible! I am happy to know that it is pastured pork, happy pigs in their natural environment make for a good tasting product!

Now that we know how demonized animal fats have been since the 1950's, and how awful vegetable oils are, I feel really good about using it again.

This is by far my favorite day to cook with. The flavor enhances every vegetable, and it makes leaner cuts of meat so much more satisfying. It’s high smoke point means I can use it to sauté or bake, and it gives a deeper level of flavor to every slow cooker meal.
