Non-contaminated food products, like those from factory farms, are very expensive and not commonly available. Having a 15% discount on 3 pails is a significant savings. I keep the pails in the back of the refrigerator and have not had any spoilage.
My diet varies from moderate to relaxed Keto. I avoid all grains and dairy products. This was difficult at first, but there is 30# less of me and I feel much better. Yes, I lost weight eating a lot of lard. No starvation diet and only moderate exercise.

This is our first time using pork lard. It is AWESOME. It loves our cast iron pans--it is the most nonstick cooking fat we have ever used in them, even if you only use a little (that's a lot in the picture ). Love the lard and love that we can trust the quality. The other thing is that we ordered this on Tuesday *night* and it showed up on our doorstep on Thursday morning. Wow! We are in state but did not ever expect it to arrive so promptly. Thanks, Fatworks!

We recently used fatworks pork lard to make dark roux for gumbo. I also made biscuits, but I can only upload one picture. Fatworks pork lard is perfect for making a dark roux because it has a higher smoking point. I melted the lard in a Dutch oven, whisked in the flour and then popped it into a 350 oven for a few hours, stirring every 20-30 minutes, until the desired color and texture was achieved. Takes longer than the stovetop method, but it comes with insurance. It's really hard to burn the roux using this method. Just set a timer to check on it every 20-30 minutes.

it is so much healthier for you. gets rid of veg oil, soy oil etc. they are so bad for you. It's too bad that mfg of processed foods don't use your product instead of soy oil etc.

An absolutely FAT-tastic customer service experience, not to mention an excellent product. All my questions were answered, and I was educated on the little 1 oz samples...so I bought 3 of them. Haven't tried them all, purchased mini grass fed ghee, duck fat and goat milk ghee. The grass fed ghee is really tasty. I don't eat meat....go figure, but I know good fat is essential. Looked for a way to find product sourced from small family farms and found Fatworks. I've been using the pork lard for a bit, and wanted to bulk buy the large pail. It is creamy and tasty, gives a nice flavor to veggies. Makes amazing french fries, too. Thank you for keeping us healthy!!

When I was a young boy too long ago, I clearly remember my grandmother, a talented woman who always grew the best gardens and then cooked up those memorable meals. I have missed that so much, but now I can cook like she did. I purchased a Pig Pail from Fatworks so that I can start dipping it out in earnest. Up to this point I have ordered several jars of lard and tallow while getting rid of seed oils in the kitchen. But now its serious cooking time and a pail a quality lard is now my kitchen standard. I don't know if my return to animal fat cooking would have gone as well if I had bought elsewhere. I know that with Fatworks, the product is freshly made, shipped quickly and always arrives well packaged. The only problem so far is that Fatworks is so good that several of the products will be sold out. That is why I am a Pig Pail man now, I don't want to run out of animal fats to cook with. When you think of lard, you think of something in a hard block that you have to chip away at. Our Pig Pail lard is anything but. It is of a much higher quality. The lard is light and whipped, appearing much like soft serve ice cream.
I use the regular pork lard in my Keto meals by simply stirring it into bowls of hot vegetables with any kind of meat. It melts instantly for a satisfying, healthy dish.
I always get good, responsive service with my online ordering from Fatworks as well.
