Have always rendered my own lard. But getting old and lazy I'm glad to find a supplier that does it the right way. Ordered a pale of Leaf Lard and Beef Tallow Lard is exactly like my own rendered version. So happy to have a supplier and be relieved of collecting fat and rendering. Beef Tallow is not something I used previously. Adds a nice flavor to sautéed mushrooms and fried potatoes. Look forward to trying it in additional dishes.
Say no to vegetable and seed oils!!!
